Dear TPAWL Stingrays Families,

We hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, we have had the privilege of leading the TPAWL Stingrays neighborhood swim team over the past several seasons. It has truly been a joy to serve in this role and to help build lasting memories for our own children and so many kids in our neighborhood.

The Stingrays are about so much more than swimming. This team fosters neighborhood camaraderie, friendships, and important life skills for our children—teamwork, commitment, confidence, and sportsmanship. Watching the kids grow each summer has been incredibly rewarding.

As we look ahead, we are ready to step down from our leadership roles and are seeking new parent volunteers to take over the management of the team. We want to assure you that we are committed to supporting a smooth transition. We will be available in the background to assist as needed and will hold a meeting to walk through responsibilities, answer questions, and share what we’ve learned about managing the team.

In order for the TPAWL Stingrays to continue competing in the TSA league this coming season, we must have volunteers in place by January 31st. If we are unable to secure new leadership by that date, we will unfortunately need to withdraw the Stingrays from the TSA league.  TSA sets the deadline and it is NOT flexible.

We truly hope that one or more individuals will consider stepping into this role so this wonderful neighborhood tradition can continue. If you are interested, have questions, or would like more information before committing, please reach out—we would be happy to talk with you.
