2026 TPAWL Stingrays
Welcome to the Park at West Lake Stingrays!
We are excited to announce our 16th season of the PAWL swim team. Our first practice is Monday, May 18, 2026.
Whether you are a beginning swimmer, have swam on a swim team before or are a year round swimmer, we welcome swimmers of various skill levels to become a Stingray. However, ALL swimmers must be able to swim one full pool length independently in any stroke ( does not need to be a legal stroke, just unassisted) - this includes 6 and unders. All families that are members of the pool are eligible to join the swim team. Registration is due May 16 and before your swimmer attends a practice.
As a swim team we are organized and governed by the rules and regulations defined as part of the Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA).
What Your Swimmer Needs
All swimmers will need a team swimsuit. Team swimsuits are the same as 2025. But if you are new or need a new size, parents can purchase this year's team swimsuits through Kiefer Aquatics in Cary. Click on the Team Suits link for more information. If you are unsure of your suit size, we strongly suggest you go in person to Kiefer Aquatics for a suit fitting before placing your order.

Note: We encourage you to order your team suits as soon as possible to avoid any supply delays.
Swimmers will be given a team swim cap as part of registration, but will need to provide their own:
- Goggles (recommend 2 pairs)
- Kickboard
- Fins
Optional: We are excited to offer the option to show off your Stingrays team spirit with shirts for the whole family! This year, the shirts are made by a team mom and are size inclusive for anyone who wants to order. Please fill out the google form and follow instructions for payment via venmo or check/cash.
